NC Canna Market was created to bring people together around North Carolina’s growing cannabis and hemp community.
What started as local markets has grown into something bigger: a place for brands, makers, artists, educators, food vendors, and community members to connect in person, learn from one another, and support local businesses.
Our goal is simple.
Create events that feel welcoming, interesting, and worth spending time at.
Throughout the year, NC Canna Market hosts smaller community markets in different cities and venues across North Carolina.
These events bring together a curated mix of:
- Cannabis and hemp brands
- Local artists and makers
- Handmade goods
- Food and beverages
- Apparel and accessories
- Wellness brands
- Music and entertainment
- Education and community experiences
Each market has its own personality, but the purpose stays the same: create a comfortable space where people can discover new businesses, ask questions, learn something, and connect with the people behind the products.
We want our markets to feel less like a trade show and more like a Saturday you actually want to spend out with friends.
On September 12, 2026, NC Canna Market is expanding into our biggest event yet:
NC Canna Festival
Hosted at The Plant in Pittsboro, North Carolina, the festival takes everything people enjoy about our smaller markets and builds an entire day around it.
More vendors.
More education.
More music.
More food.
More art.
More experiences.
More ways to be part of the community.
NC Canna Festival will bring together cannabis and hemp brands alongside local makers, artists, musicians, educators, food vendors, and businesses from across North Carolina.
It is designed to be more than a shopping event.
Come for the market. Stay for the music. Join a competition. Try an experience. Learn something new. Grab some food. Meet the people behind your favorite brands.

Cannabis culture is bigger than a product.
It is growers, makers, science, art, food, music, creativity, wellness, entrepreneurship, and community.
Our events are built to reflect that.
Whether you have been part of the cannabis community for years or you are simply curious and want to learn more, we want NC Canna Market to feel approachable.
You do not need to be an expert to belong here.

One of the most important parts of NC Canna Market is giving people the opportunity to meet the businesses and creators working in their own communities.
That includes established cannabis brands, but it also means the artist making jewelry at home, the local clothing company, the glassblower, the food truck, the wellness brand, the photographer, and the person turning an idea into a business for the first time.
Great events are built by the community around them.
We want to give those businesses a place to be discovered.
NC Canna Festival is a major step forward, but it is not the end goal.
We are continuing to develop new markets, partnerships, experiences, educational programming, and events throughout North Carolina.
Some will be large festivals.
Some will be smaller neighborhood markets.
Some may look completely different from anything we have done before.
