- Effective Date: August 17, 2026
- Event Date: September 12, 2026
- Location: The Plant, Pittsboro, North Carolina
- Organizer: GKD Supply LLC d/b/a NC Canna Market
1. Scope
These Terms apply to NC Canna Festival experiences, cannabinoid-related activities, sampling, consumption, community judging, competitions, VIP activities, and other organized Festival programming.
They supplement the Master Attendee Terms & Conditions.
By purchasing, reserving, checking into, or participating in an experience or cannabinoid-related activity, the participant agrees to these Terms.
2. All Festival Experiences Are 21+
All organized Festival experiences are 21+ only, whether or not cannabinoid consumption is included.
This includes, where applicable:
- Workshops
- Wellness activities
- Guided activities
- Creative experiences
- Community judging
- Competitions
- VIP experiences
- Consumption experiences
- Evening Chill
- Other reserved or organized Festival activities
A ticket or reservation alone does not establish age eligibility.
3. Identification & Wristbands
Participants must provide a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID when requested.
A valid 21+ Festival wristband may be required before entering an experience or receiving cannabinoid products.
Wristbands:
- Must be issued only after age verification
- Must remain secured to the verified attendee
- May not be transferred, shared, duplicated, or altered
- May be invalidated if damaged, transferred, or suspicious
Festival staff and vendors may request identification again even after a wristband has been issued.
No valid ID means no 21+ access.
EXPERIENCE PARTICIPATION
4. Registration & Check-In
Some experiences may require:
- Advance purchase
- Reservation
- Separate check-in
- Capacity limits
- Additional activity-specific rules
Participants should arrive within the stated check-in period.
Late arrival may result in loss of the reserved space when accommodating the participant would disrupt the activity or prevent another participant from attending.
5. Participant Responsibility
Participation is voluntary.
Each participant is responsible for determining whether an activity is appropriate for their:
- Physical condition
- Personal tolerance
- Allergies
- Medications
- Mobility
- Sensory needs
- Health circumstances
- Experience level
Participants must follow reasonable instructions from Festival staff, instructors, vendors, guides, and experience operators.
Anyone who feels ill, unsafe, overly impaired, or unable to continue should stop participating and notify staff.
SAFETY & ENFORCEMENT
15. Excessive Impairment
Festival staff, vendors, and experience operators may refuse additional service or participation when an attendee appears excessively impaired or unable to safely continue.
An attendee may be:
- Refused additional products or samples
- Removed from an experience
- Denied entry to another experience
- Removed from a consumption area
- Referred for medical assistance
- Removed from the Festival when reasonably necessary
Purchasing a ticket or experience does not guarantee continued participation when doing so would create a safety concern.
No refund is owed when participation is denied because of excessive impairment, unsafe behavior, or violation of Festival rules.
16. Right to Refuse Participation
NC Canna Market and authorized operators may refuse or discontinue participation because of:
- Failure to verify age
- Invalid or missing wristband
- Excessive impairment
- Unsafe behavior
- Harassment or disruption
- Failure to follow reasonable instructions
- Medical or safety concerns
- Capacity restrictions
- Venue requirements
- Legal requirements
- Violation of Festival policies
Safety takes priority over completing an experience.
17. Product & Wristband Transfers
Attendees may not:
- Transfer a 21+ wristband
- Purchase cannabinoid products for an ineligible person
- Give cannabinoid samples or products to an ineligible person
- Assist another person in avoiding age verification
- Alter, duplicate, or misuse Festival credentials
Serious violations may result in removal without refund.
