3. Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited unless specifically authorized by NC Canna Market or required by applicable law:
- Firearms
- Weapons
- Fireworks
- Explosives
- Outside alcohol
- Illegal substances
- Glass beverage containers
- Unsafe open-flame equipment
- Unauthorized drones
- Large unauthorized speakers or sound systems
- Professional photography or video equipment without appropriate authorization or Media credentials
- Items intended to be used as weapons
- Any item reasonably determined to create a significant safety, security, legal, or operational concern
Festival staff may deny entry or require a prohibited item to be removed from Festival property.
4. Bags & Personal Items
The Festival does not currently require clear bags or impose a general bag-size restriction.
Attendees remain responsible for ensuring that bags, coolers, and personal belongings do not contain prohibited items or create a safety hazard.
Items may not:
- Block walkways
- Obstruct entrances or exits
- Interfere with accessibility routes
- Create trip hazards
- Interfere with Festival operations
Festival safety procedures may be adjusted when reasonably necessary because of security, emergency, venue, or legal requirements.
5. Outside Food & Beverages
Attendees may bring outside food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Permitted items include:
- Sealed water bottles
- Refillable water bottles
- Personal food
- Coolers
Outside alcohol is prohibited.
Glass beverage containers are prohibited.
Attendees are responsible for safely storing and disposing of their food, drinks, containers, and waste.
6. Cannabinoid Products
Cannabinoid products are governed by the separate Experience Participation, Age Verification & Consumption Terms.
Cannabinoid products intended for Festival consumption must be purchased or received during the event from an approved Festival vendor, authorized Festival experience, or official Festival promotion.
Outside cannabinoid products may not be brought onto Festival property for consumption.
7. Smoking & Consumption Areas
Smoking, vaping, dabbing, sampling, and cannabinoid consumption are subject to Festival consumption rules.
These activities are prohibited:
- Inside buildings
- In enclosed indoor spaces
- Within the playground area
- In any designated non-consumption area
- In any temporarily restricted location
Posted signs and staff instructions must be followed.
